The cutting result is impressive, and it is possible to produce parts with 0.1 mm accuracy with sharp corners and a minimum of heat impact. The focused laser beam melts a narrow cut in the base material, after which the melt is blown out by a cutting gas, which leaves a clean cut without slag. Therefore, it is possible to provide high quality edges, which do not necessarily need reworking.
