CNC turning

At Hosta Industries, we have extensive knowledge and expertise in CNC turning.
Today, all turning takes place on our CNC lathes. A lathe offers many options, both for our customers and ourselves as a subcontractor and collaborator. We have the option to produce both complex components and components of a simpler character.

Like CNC milling, CNC turning is a machining process involving chip removal in which our always-optimised and up-to-date machines allow us to offer our customers turned workpieces of a high quality. We turn workpieces in materials such as black steel, aluminium, stainless steel, plastic, brass and copper.

Contact us to learn more about the process and how we can help you. We are also happy to assist with advice on product development and adaptation of workpieces to ensure an optimal solution for you.

In connection with CNC machining, we also offer CNC milling. Therefore, please explore the options with CNC milling as well.

Compared to turning without CNC, CNC turning is automated and thereby significantly optimised. In this context, the process is much faster, and there is a greater degree of repeatability – all workpieces are identical.
In an automated process, the error rate is generally much lower, and the quality is higher than in manual rotation. This is due to there being minimal handling of the workpieces, resulting in fewer operational procedures for the workpieces to go through.
We have just the right equipment for performing CNC turning of your workpieces. We can turn single workpieces but particularly specialise in both smaller and larger series, as our machine is ideal for batch sizes ranging from 50 to 1,000 units.
