The customer, a manufacturer of furniture, needed a frame for a new table series about to enter production. Their designer had drawn up the broad outlines of the product, and the customer’s purchasing department had tested an Asian supplier but did not achieve the desired result. To achieve a better product, they, therefore, contacted a Danish product designer who knew about Hosta Industries’ expertise.
The product designer specified more detailed design lines, and Hosta Industries supplied several optimisations regarding both strength and production technology. Most of Hosta Industries’ competences were brought into play, and a test was made and approved by the customer. The result was a very production-friendly product with a very high output.
With Hosta Industries’ solution, the customer achieved short lead times and consistently high quality. The products were packed by our skilled employees, and then delivered packed and labelled according to the customer’s wishes – ready for delivery to the end customer.
